Outdoor enthusiasts in Cumbria are being invited to take part in a special sunset community hike.

The event is being hosted by Ellis Brigham’s Keswick store in collaboration with The North Face and Hiked Up on Friday, May 15.

Starting at 4:30pm, organisers say the event offers a "relaxed and social" 10km guided circular hike into the surrounding fells.

Participants will gather at the Ellis Brigham Keswick store for food, drinks, and a chance to meet fellow walkers before setting off.

The route will lead to a summit overlooking Derwentwater and the Borrowdale Valley, where hikers can enjoy a refreshing non-alcoholic drink while watching the sunset.

The group will then descend back to the store.

The North Face will have a selection of footwear available to demo on the night.

Tickets are priced at £5 and all ticket proceeds will be donated to Keswick Mountain Rescue.
