Cumbria-Cumberland Federation of Womens Institutes held an event at Keswick Rugby Club on Sunday to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Held at Keswick Rugby Club, the event drew attendees from all over the Federation area.
A spokesperson said: "A great way to celebrate all women."
The day featured a display of WI activities, a raffle, and home baked goods.
Theatre by The Lake donated two sets of four tickets to see Cakendar Girls - The musical, including money to spend in their café.
The event raised £530 through donations and the raffle, which is to be donated to ‘Every life matters’, a charity Keswick Rugby Club are supporting.
Visitors also had the chance to watch Woman’s and girls rugby from the comfort of The function room.
The event was attended by both WI members and non-members and organisers deemed it a "massive success".
