A recruitment agency is offering free career coaching sessions to women in Cumbria.
Foxgroves Recruitment, based in Penrith and celebrating its second year in business, has launched the initiative in honour of International Women’s Day.
Lyndsey Fitheridge, founder and chief executive of Foxgroves, said: "I’m passionate about pay equality and helping women thrive at every stage of their career.
"Having supported thousands of women over my 20 plus years in recruitment, I know how powerful tailored guidance can be, especially for those balancing work and family."
Five confidential, one-to-one sessions are available to women currently working in HR, L&D, administration, PA, secretarial, sales, marketing, office, or operations management roles, from apprentice to director level.
The sessions will be held virtually and will include personalised goal setting, pay rise negotiation guidance, CV advice, and job search strategies.
Practical support on using AI tools to boost productivity will also be provided.
To apply, women should email lyndsey.fitheridge@foxgroves.co.uk with the subject line ‘International Women’s Day 2026,’ including their CV and a short statement explaining why they would benefit from coaching.
The deadline for applications is 5.30pm on Friday, March 13, 2026 with five women selected to receive the confidential coaching shortly after.
