CUMBRIA Police are seeking support from the public to identify two men as part of an investigation into an arson attack in Carlisle.

The incident occurred shortly before 1am on Wednesday, February 4 where a car parked on a driveway at an address on Mardale Road was set on fire.

According to police, the suspects also attempted to set fire to the property.

No one was injured during the incident, police have confirmed.

Detectives are now seeking to identify two men as part of their investigation into the incident.

A Cumbria Police spokespersons said: "Police are seeking support from the public to identify the two men pictured and would like to speak with them as part of the investigation.

"Officers are also appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone with information to come forward.
