Cumbrian midfielder Joe White has returned to Newcastle United from his loan spell at Leyton Orient.
The Premier League club confirmed White's return on Monday after half a season in League One.
Orient suggested it was their decision to bring the 23-year-old Carlisle-born player's time in east London to an end.
White had joined the Os last summer in a season-long loan deal.

But he made just six appearances for Richie Wellens' side in an injury-hit spell, with his three league outings for the club all coming from the bench.
Orient announced that they had "ended the loan deals of Joe White and [Crystal Palace's] Tayo Adaramola with immediate effect."
The move to Orient was the fifth loan move of White's career.
Previously he had spells with Hartlepool United, Exeter City, Crewe Alexandra and MK Dons.
It remains to be seen whether the Cumbrian will head out again for more first-team football in the second half of the campaign.
White is under contract at Newcastle until the summer of 2027, having come through the Magpies' academy following his switch to the north east from Carlisle United's youth set-up.
The grandson of the late former Carlisle physio, player and coach and ex-Workington Reds manager Peter Hampton, White has made four first-team Premier League appearances for Newcastle.
