A WEST Cumbrian primary school has raised over £1,000 for a local charity.
Dean C of E Primary School raised £1,638.47 through their Mini Colour Run in May.
This was the pupil's first time taking part in an event like this charity.
Jackie Brough from AVS Cumbria Metals LTD who sponsored this Mini Colour Run, said that it was a fantastic fundraiser, "There were some wonderfully coloured little people emerging at the end of the school day, not to mention teaching staff and the odd parent or two.
"Hospice at Home West Cumbria is an amazing organisation valued by so many, especially the families, ourselves included, who have needed the care and comfort you provide.”
In a post on social media, Hospice at Home added: "Thank you so much to all at AVS Cumbria Metals and Dean C of E Primary School for your support."
