School pupils from across Cumbria have been attending their school proms.
Proms have grown over the past decades and help to mark a significant point in children’s educations.
Students don their finest clothes and head out for an evening remembering all the high points - and some of the lows - of their schooling.
People from all over the region have been sending in their prom pictures.

One such prom attendee was Pheobe Baty whose mother, Kelly Spiers said it was a 'lovely' experience after her oldest daughter's experience was altered due to Covid.
St Benedicts & Whitehaven AFC Girls Football Team also swapped their football kit and boots for prom dresses and heels as they celebrated the occasion in style.
