Residents in communities on the outskirts of Carlisle are invited to share their views on local issues with Cumbria Police.

The police are encouraging people in Crosby/Houghton, Rockcliffe, Scotby, Wetheral, Castle Carrock, Cotehilll, Longtown, Smithfield, Roadhead, Irthington, Low Row, Halbankgate, Brampton and Corby Hill to fill in a community survey.

Residents can raise issues such as anti-social behaviour, youth disorder, drug dealing, road safety, and criminal damage as well as the specific street they are happening on.

The police will consider any ongoing neighbourhood problems shared with them via the survey and will also meet with people to discuss their concerns.

If someone doesn't want to be contacted, they are directed to share more details via the Cumbria Police website.

The survey should be filled in within the next two weeks and can be submitted online.
