A man has been placed on bail under suspicion of stealing chickens in Whitehaven.
An appeal was launched by Copeland Police in March after 11 chickens were taken from a property in Whitehaven.
Nine hens and two cockerels were stolen complete with their food barrel and pellets.
After more chickens were stolen in Hensingham, a man has been arrested and his home searched where the missing chickens were located.
The chickens have been returned to their rightful owners.

A spokesperson for Copeland Police said: “Overnight, another incident occurred however this time the suspect wasn't quite so lucky.
“PC 3157 arrested a male under suspicion of three counts of burglary after more chickens were stolen in Hensingham, Whitehaven.
“Following the arrest, a Section 32 Search was conducted where the missing chickens were located.
“The stolen chickens were recovered and returned to their home. The suspect has been placed on bail whilst the remaining evidence is gathered.”
