CARLISLE'S much-loved Old Fire Station celebrated its 100,000th customer to walk through its doors on Saturday (May, 25).

Amidst the launch of the venue's daytime clubbing events, patron Kristian Walker-Small emerged as the lucky individual, receiving a £100 ticket in front of a sold-out crowd.

Will Morgan, the venue's managing director, said: "Congratulations to Kristian Walker-Small.

"She wins a £100 ticket voucher for being a very special customer, and for being very brave and coming on stage to receive her prize and having a selfie in front of a sold-out crowd.

"We re-opened after the pandemic two and a half years ago and are just thrilled by how much Carlisle and the wider community have embraced the venue and support us.

"We can't thank you all enough.

"100,000 customers has exceeded all our expectations and we are so excited for what the future holds and all the amazing acts we can bring to the city," he said.

News and Star:

The celebration of 100,000 customers comes on the back of the venue having its most successful year to date, having attracted 37,230 visitors across 149 shows in 2023.

In 2024, the venue aims to draw close to 50,000 attendees.

The venue's over 30s Day Time Disco, which has proved hugely popular since its announcement earlier this year, will also be returning in the coming weeks.

Events are scheduled for June 15 and in July.
