OFFICERS are appealing for CCTV footage as part of an investigation into an incident of alleged indecent exposure in Carlisle.

Police said they are investigating a report of indecent exposure which occurred on Friday, May 17 at around 1am in the area of Marlborough Gardens.

Police received a report that a man had been seen walking in the area 'wearing no clothing'.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may hold any relevant CCTV, camera doorbell or dashcam footage in the areas of Stanwix Bank, Marlborough Gardens and Etterby Street.

Specifically, officers would like to hear from people with footage between midnight and 3am on May 17.

As part of the police investigation, a 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure. He has since been bailed, pending further enquiries.
