Children’s charities have received £45,000 from a Carlisle-based business.
Tax Rebate Services, a website which aims to help people claim back tax rebates. Donated the money to NSPCC and Childline.
Tax Rebate Services’ founder and MD Paul Donohoe said: “Our relationship with this incredible charity dates back 12 years when we started making regular corporate donations.
“The NSPCC is a very important cause and by supporting them we feel we’re giving a very important gift to children at risk – the chance to live their lives free from abuse and fear.
“A large proportion of the NSPCC’s funding comes from public and corporate donations and our goal is to continue to provide as much financial support as we can.”
NSPCC’s regional corporate fundraiser, Paula Marshall, said: “We are so grateful for the donations from Paul and Tax Rebate Services.
“£4 pays for a call to Childline and every single penny donated makes a difference to our services.”
