A spanner attack resulting in bloody injuries has prompted a police investigation.
Cumbria police said it happened on Kilbride Place in Frizington at around 4.20pm on May 23.
The assault involved a man with a spanner chasing another man, injuring the victim, resulting in blood being located at the scene.
Police are appealing for both the victim in this case to come forward to police and witnesses to this incident to come forward with information.
Police said they're 'unable to provide any further information into the levels of injury sustained to the victim'.
Furthermore, they ask that the victim go to hospital to get medical treatment and come forward with information to the police.
Police also ask members of the community to help with their investigation, and identify the victim, the suspect, and any witnesses.
