A SCHOOL in West Cumbria held a volleyball festival this week.
St Bees School hosted a Festival of Volleyball on the school grounds welcoming teams from schools across the county.
The secondary school had both a boys and girls team that took part in the event.
A spokesperson said: "Last weekend, St Bees School proudly hosted a Festival of Volleyball, welcoming teams from across Cumbria to compete in an exciting and spirited event.
"Both the St Bees Boys and Girls teams showcased their skills and sportsmanship. The Boys' team delivered an impressive performance, winning 4 out of their 6 games and securing second place overall.
"The Girls team also played exceptionally well, winning 2 games and finishing in third place.
"It was a fantastic event that celebrated the sport of volleyball and brought our community together."
