A SECTION of a Workington road has been closed due to 'structural issues' with some of the buildings on the street.
Cumberland council have said that part of Corporation Road in Workington has been closed today, May 22 due to 'structural issues' with some of the buildings.
The council have said they are working with property owners to try and solve the situation 'as quickly as possible'
In a statement, Cumberland council said: "Please be aware that part of Corporation Road in Workington is closed due to structural issues with some buildings.
"The property owners are aware and are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
"Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time."
