A tribute to one of the biggest rock bands to ever play will make time stand still later this year.
Moving Pictures, a tribute to the music of Canadian rock band Rush will take to the stage of The Brickyard on August 16 after a storming show last year.
Darren Redick of Planet Rock Radio said the band is ‘really really good’, and have them ‘a double Redick thumbs-up’.
On seeing the Moving Pictures video for their arrangement of Afterimage, Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson wrote: "Very moving and beautifully done.
“Heartfelt thanks to the band for their kind tribute."
Playing the full Permanent Waves album, and other Rush classics during a three-hour show, the power trio have played over 50 gigs in 2023, including Lakeside Park in Canada for Neil Peart’s family.
