A MAN has complained after his house was left without electricity more than five times in a week.
Leonard Case, who lives in Harrel Lane, Barrow, contacted The Mail after his house was affected by several power cuts in the same week.
He explained it had 'never happened' before in the 20 years he had been living there.
Mr Case said: "It happened early in the morning. I was halfway through making my dinner when it went off the last time and it went off for a couple of hours.
"Any time it goes off I have to reset my electric clock."
On April 30, 96 residents living in the area of Newbarns in Barrow experienced a power cut just before noon.
A spokesperson for Electricity North West said: "In the last week, we have experienced several intermittent faults on the underground network in Barrow.
"We recognised this and installed technology which will help locate where the fault is on our network and once found, a permanent repair will be made."
