SIGNFICANT delays are expected on the roads tomorrow (May 2) as an abnormal load is being moved from Workington to Carlisle.
On May 2, Cumbria Road Police said they are helping to escort two loads from Workington Docks via the A66 and A595 to Carlisle.
The load will leave the docks at 10am and is expected to take most of the day to complete its journey.
In a post on social media, police said that there are significant delays expected along the route of the A66 and A595.
