RAF Spadeadam has announced another 'night flying exercise' over Cumbria.

According to an announcement on social media, the training runs from April 29 to May 2, 6 pm to 2 am.

In an address to neighbours in Cumbria and Northumberland, the official announcement stated: "Please note that aircraft may continue to transit through the range after this time.

"This activity is normal routine training, and this notification is made as the activity is outside the standard range training times.

"We thank you for your understanding and your continuing support whilst we deliver this essential operational training."

A similar exercise was conducted on April 16 and 24.
