A SHOPLIFTER has been fined for stealing a crate of Stella Artois and a box of Foster’s from a convenience store.
Stacey Turner, 27, stole the booze worth £23 from Tesco Express in Maryport on April 6.
She pleaded guilty to theft from a shop and failing to surrender to court bail when she appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court.
Turner, of Eaglesfield Street, Maryport, was fined £40 and ordered to pay £23 in compensation to Tesco.
She must also pay £85 costs.
