THERE are reports of slow traffic following a crash on the A595.
According to the AA's traffic report, the A595 is being impacted both ways from A66 (Bridgefoot roundabout) to Branthwaite Road.
Stagecoach has indicated that there may be delays due to the crash which has resulted in a diversion through Workington.
M&I Travel Ltd also reported delays to their school bus services affecting a number of their services.
A spokesman said: "There has been an accident on the Stainburn turn in on the A595 and we have multiple vehicles caught up in the traffic. This is currently affecting the Eaglesfield to Cockermouth school, Broughton to Cockermouth School and Clifton to Workington Academy.
"We cannot give an exact ETA at this time but will get to the children as soon as we can. We apologise for the inconvenience caused. "
