CUMBRIA Police have been speaking to Carlisle residents about child employment.
Officers have been working with a Cumberland Council officer to provide information and advice to residents.
A spokesperson said: "PC 3200 and PC 3384 have today, been in Carlisle City Centre working in joint partnership with Paula Nixon the Child Employment and Entertainment Officer from Cumberland Council.
"We visited various businesses in the City Centre that have or may employ children and offered advice and information on the rules and regulations on employing school children."
