A MAN who had an electronic stun device has been fined for possessing a prohibited weapon.
Connor Devlin, 29, had the stun device in Whitehaven on October 13 last year. He also had cannabis in his possession.
The defendant, of Esk Avenue, Whitehaven, admitted possessing a weapon for the discharge of an incapacitation device and possessing a Class C drug.
Magistrates imposed a 12-month community order with a mental health treatment requirement.
Devlin was fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £114 victim surcharge. An order was made for the defendant of the electronic stun device.
