Brampton Medical Practice has warned patients about fraudulent phone calls that ask to confirm patient and bank details for system updates relating to prescription deliveries.
Patients are advised to not provide any details, hang up, and confirm with the practice if it has attempted to contact them.
The practice advised any patient who receives such a call to contact Action Fraud at 0300 123 2040 or report on its website www.actionfraud.police.uk/
