Final line-up details for Keswick Mountain Festival’s speakers have been revealed.
The speaker schedule will feature three extra evening ‘tent talks’ featuring former race cyclist David Millar, endurance cyclist Jenny Graham, and climber Marta Misztal.
David Millar won multiple stages of grand tours but was banned for two years in 2004 for taking performance-enhancing drugs.
Now he’s an anti-doping campaigner, and will tell his story at 8pm on May 17.
Jenny Graham will speak about her record-breaking solo ride round the planet from 6pm on May 18, and at 9pm that evening, Marta Misztal will use her anecdotes and experiences to ‘dismantle the misconception that only the fittest people can reach the summit of Everest.
There are still tickets left for suicide-awareness campaigners 3 Dads Walking, appearing at Theatre by the Lake on May 18.
