THE Lanes Shopping Centre has said that it is expecting to be 'very busy' when it hosts children's favourites Bluey and Bingo.

The pair, who feature in the popular Australian animated series 'Bluey', will appear at the Carlisle shopping centre on Wednesday, April 3.

Bluey the Blue Heeler and Bingo the Red Heeler will meet their fans at the East Tower Square, with appearances at intervals between 11 am and 3 pm.

Just over a week until the visit of Bluey and Bingo, The Lanes' centre manager Susan Young detailed how they are preparing for a big turnout and in response are putting on supplementary activities such as face painting.

She said: "We are expecting the visit by Bluey and Bingo to be very busy and there will likely be queues so we will be handing out chocolates in the queue and there will also be a face painter which will be free, but we hope that people will donate towards our Once Great Day Fundraising."

Speaking previously, Susan also expressed her excitement ahead of the visit of Bluey and Bingo.

We’re really excited to see our young shoppers having fun with popular characters Bluey and Bingo.

"We like to offer our customers that little bit extra when visiting The Lanes and we know how important it is for families to keep their kids entertained during the school holidays so are always looking to introduce something different to add to our offer."
