Silloth Green is set to host a lively, free festival of live music and performing arts on the first weekend of July.
Firebird Festival, run by community interest company Silloth-on-Solway Festivals, will be on July 6 and 7.
Attendees can anticipate performances by Caleb H, The Moondogs, The Northern Threads, and The Skapones on July 6; while the 7th will see The O'Dels, Something Brewin and Green Haze take the stage.
Fired-Up, an arts group from Warwickshire, promises action-packed entertainment on both days.
Alongside a variety of food and refreshment offerings, fairground rides, and more, the festival will also feature Andy's Man Club to promote men's health and well-being.
This vibrant community gathering comes as an answer to a town council mandate requiring community events to be overseen by a committee.
Treasurer Colin Baty led the September 2023 move to organise this anticipated free event, deemed viable following local sponsorship.
