Train drivers who are members of ASLEF, the train drivers’ trade union, will take part in another programme of strike action across Cumbria.
Members will walk out on Avanti West Coast services on Friday, April 5 and on Northern and TransPennine Express Trains on Saturday, April 6.
Members will also refuse to work their rest days from Thursday 4 to Saturday, April 6 and from Monday 8 to Tuesday, April 9.
"We have given the government every opportunity to come to the table but it is now clear they do not want to resolve this dispute," said general secretary of ASLEF, Mick Whelan.

"They are happy for it go on and on. Because we are not going to give up. Many members have now not had a single penny increase in pay for half a decade, during which time inflation has soared and, with it, the cost of living."
The rail delivery group said: "Nobody wins when industrial action impacts people's lives and livelihoods, and we will work hard to minimise any disruption to our passengers."
