A THIEF has reportedly made off with cash after breaking into Carlisle Cathedral's gift shop.
The suspect is said to have infiltrated the gift shop via the cathedral's 'medieval' wooden screens, lifting money from the money box at around 9.55am on March 13.
An image appeal of the alleged suspect has been shared on the cathedral's Facebook page.
Reports can be made online to Cumbria Police quoting incident number 75 , by dialing 101 or contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 anonymously.
Those who recognise the man pictured online are being requested to email info@carlislecathedral.org.uk.
