Police are investigating the alleged theft of manhole covers that has seen the arrests of two men.
Cumbria Police said the theft happened on the North Scale end of Walney Promenade, Walney on March 7 2024 at around 4pm, according to a witness report.
The men, in their 30s, from Lancaster and who were seen driving a white Citroen van, were arrested near Levens and subsequently released on bail.
