MUNCASTER Castle's Sausage Festival will return this summer.
The Sausage Festival which was a success in 2023 will return for the 2024 May bank holiday.
A spokesperson said: "After a sizzling 2023 event, Sausage Festival is back for 2024. Join us for a family-friendly festival to celebrate all things sausage!
"Enjoy a fun day out with the whole family with local sausage maker stalls, food and drinks, kids activities, a sausage dog competition, and more.
"Sausage makers from across the land will be joining us for a chance to be crowned Sausage Champion 2024.
"Join the sizzle with `Bangers & Dash' Race through sausage-themed obstacles, aim for the fastest time, and top our leaderboard for glory!
"We have two fantastic markets to visit this year too.
"Our brand new 'Crafted in Cumbria' stalls will be celebrating Cumbria crafters, and we are teaming up with Taste Cumbria who will be joining us with a small Food and Drink Market."
