PATTERDALE MRT came to the assistance of a family who had become disorientated.
The family had lost their way due to weather conditions on Place Fell.
A spokesperson said: "At 14:20 on Sunday, March 3, Patterdale Mountain Rescue team was tasked by Cumbria Police to go to the assistance of a young family who had become disorientated and lost in a low cloud on Place Fell.
"Five team members made their way to the casualties' location and proceeded to escort them from the fell.
"This incident took six team members one hour to complete."
