A man has been charged with burglary following a report at a property in the area of Shaddongate, Carlisle on February 24
Marc Austin, 33, of Dobinson Road, Carlisle was charged with burglary dwelling with intent to steal, criminal damage and assault by beating.

He appeared at North and West Cumbria Magistrates on February 26 and was remanded in custody to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on March 25.
