A MAN who made indecent images of a child has been ordered to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register.
Ryan Tinkler, 30, pleaded guilty to making 12 Category C indecent images of a child when he appeared before Workington Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
Tinkler, of Valley View, Little Clifton, Workington, committed the offence between June 2022 and February 2023.
Magistrates ordered the defendant to complete a 30-day sexual offender programme and 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
A Sexual Harm Prevention Order was imposed with a number of conditions which include making any device with access to the internet available to police upon request, not using any online service that conceals, falsifies, or disguises the IP address and not deleting any internet browsing history records.
Tinkler is required to register with the police as a sex offender for the next five years.
