For many, 1984 will be remembered for the Winter Olympics in Sarajevo in which Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean received sixes across the board following their skate to Ravel’s Bolero.

Tomorrow marks exactly 40 years since the pair skated off with the gold medal.
This year is also the 100th anniversary of the Olympic Winter Games, which were first held in 1924 in the French Alps.
