THE Whitehaven Launderette has announced it has been forced to temporarily close due to damage caused by a fire.
The laundry service announced the closure online, and said: "It is with heavy hearts that we announce the temporary closure of The Whitehaven Launderette due to a recent fire incident."
The unit suffered significant damage due to the fire, meaning that during this period, all services and operations will be suspended until further notice.
The announcement continued: "We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and support during this challenging time.
"We will keep you updated on our progress and reach out to all customers that may be affected."
