A MAN will be sentenced later this month for possessing an electronic stun device and cannabis.

Connor Devlin, 29, indicated guilty pleas to possessing a weapon for the discharge of an electrical incapacitation device and possessing a Class C drug when he appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court.

The offences took place in Whitehaven on October 13.

The case was adjourned to allow a pre-sentence report to be prepared by the probation service.

Devlin, of Esk Avenue, Whitehaven, will be sentenced on February 20. He was granted unconditional bail.
