The A595 near Grizebeck in Cumbria is partially blocked and has heavy traffic this morning (Thursday February 1) due to an incident.
At 6.55 this morning, Cumbria Police wrote: "A595 both ways partially blocked, heavy traffic due to overturned car and car fire between the service station (Grizebeck) and Bank End Lodge Holiday Cottage.
On Facebook, Westmorland and Furness Council added: "We are unable to confirm an expected reopening time just yet as we need to determine the full extent of the damage and work required.
"Please can we ask all road users to kindly respect the road closure signs in place so our crew can work safety and efficiently.
"The diversion route is via Broughton A593 to Torver onto the A5084 to Lowick Green then back onto the A5092."
