A CUMBRIAN charity has shared its gratitude for a 10-year-old fundraising 'hero' who brought in nearly £2,000 in 2023.
Harry Little has been a keen supporter of Eden Valley Hospice for several years now and he has held a Christmas wreath raffle every year since 2021.
This year saw him raise an impressive £208 thanks to his Christmas wreath, while he also remarkably raised £1784.50 thanks to an epic bike ride from Cumbria to Holland.
Eden Valley Hospice said: "Harry truly is a hospice hero who has supported the charity over a number of years in a variety of different ways.
"Most recently Harry raised an amazing £208 through raffling off his Christmas wreath, a fundraising initiative he has now done for three consecutive Christmases.
"Additionally, Harry raised £1,784.50 by completing an epic cycle ride from his home in Cumbria to Holland, to complete the 440km LF Zuiderzeeroute there, before cycling back home - a total journey of more than 350 miles.
"In total Harry has raised more than £2,400 for his local hospice, money which will help ensure compassionate care and support is available to people with life limiting illnesses and their families and we can't thank him enough."
