A WOMAN has been found guilty of causing more than £1,000 worth of damage to a van belonging to police.
Louise Lyon, 43, had denied a charge of criminal damage but was found guilty following a trial at Workington Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
Lyon, of Short Acres, Maryport, had caused £1027.80 worth of damage to the vehicle in Workington on May 17 last year.
Magistrates ordered her to pay £1027.80 in compensation to Cumbria Constabulary and fined her £120.
