CARLISLE Cathedral will be hosting a series of free concerts.
The first of these will take place at the end of January and will feature an organ recital.
A spokesperson from the cathedral said: "The first event in our new series of free concerts and recitals, will take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 2pm and will be an organ recital performed by Edward Taylor, assistant organist here at Carlisle Cathedral.
"The recital is free to attend, and a collection will be taken at the end to support the Cathedral and the artist - please give what you can.
"We hope you can join us. More information can be found on our website."
