An inquest has opened into a man's death after a coach crashed into a Cumbrian railway station.
At the coroner’s court in Cockermouth today (January 11), Dr Nicholas Shaw opened the inquest into Roger Denwood, 75, of Cockermouth.
He died on December 15, 2023, after being struck by the coach on November 30.
He was transferred to a trauma centre in Newcastle where life-saving treatment was attempted, but his injuries were too severe.
He was transferred to Eden Valley Hospice in Carlisle for end-of-life care.
Dr Shaw said that an inquest will happen on May 21, 2024.
