THE cast for a new production of the Little Shop of Horrors in Cumbria has been announced.
The cult classic rock and roll musical Little Shop of Horrors is coming to Theatre by the Lake on March 24, 2024.
A company of 9 actors including several talented actor-musicians make up the cast for this sci-fi smash-hit musical.
Laura Jane Matthewson and Oliver Mawdsley will play Audrey and Seymour respectively.
The man-eating plant, Audrey II, will be voiced by 2015 X Factor finalist and actor Anton Stephans.
Completing the cast is Matthew Ganley as Orin, Matthew Heywood as Derelict, Janna May as Chiffon, Zweyla Mitchell Dos Santos as Crystal, Chardai Shaw as Ronnette, and Andrew Whitehead as Mr Mushnik.
Little Shop of Horrors Director, Lotte Wakeham, commented: “It has such an iconic score with memorable and brilliantly feel-good songs, and to stage the show with a company of immensely talented actor-musicians performing all the music live on stage will sound absolutely incredible."
