A MAN has been remanded in custody after admitting a Christmas Day assault.
Jordan Khelil, 19, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage under £5,000 when he appeared at Carlisle Magistrates’ Court on December 27.
Khelil assaulted the female and caused damage to a TV, light switch and cupboard in Workington on December 25.
The case was committed to Carlisle Crown Court for sentence on January 26.
Khelil, of South Street, Egremont, was remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
