The official Lake District, Cumbria Holiday Guide for 2024 is now available, providing inspiration for visitors domestically and internationally.

As the county's official Destination Management Organisation, Cumbria Tourism has created the latest holiday guide to give people all the information they need to plan ahead for 2024, including details on places to stay, eat, drink and experience.
The guide covers all parts of the county, including the Lake District, Cumbria's West Coast, Morecambe Bay, the Eden Valley, the North Pennines, the historic city of Carlisle and the Yorkshire Dales.
It can be easily accessed in digital format on www.visitlakedistrict.com. Meanwhile, printed copies will be taken to trade shows and visitor facing events across the UK, including country fairs in 2024. They can also be picked up at key distribution points from early January, as well as being available to purchase for both domestic and international visitors (for the cost of a postage fee).
Highlighting the county as a great place to explore, the 2024 guide is divided into simple sections covering key locations and attractions, hidden gems, and how to get to and around Cumbria, as well as how to access adventure, culture, relaxation and family fun.
Cumbria's award-winning food and drink offerings are also highlighted, along with a wide range of outdoor activities and accommodation options including traditional hotels, guesthouses, campsites, and more unique options such as glamping pods, yurts, and shepherd's huts.
Sue Clarke, marketing manager of Cumbria Tourism, said: "I am extremely proud of everything the Lake District, Cumbria has to offer. The Cumbria Tourism team and I are always discovering something new to surprise us - a breathtaking view, a great pub or place to stay, a piece of history, an unforgettable attraction or experience. It's exciting, exhilarating, and above all, good for the soul!
"Not only do we have a world-class environment with so many amazing things to see and do, but our businesses have shown great adaptability in maintaining inspiring experiences with the current cost of living crisis. They also understand customers' ongoing need for flexibility.
"By booking early, people can secure the best dates, choose their preferred options, and give themselves something to look forward to for the coming year."
