Popular orchestra Royal Northern Sinfonia are set to perform a Christmas classic in Carlisle next week.
We’re walking in the air, we’re floating in the moonlit sky…Let yourself be whisked away into the cold, starry night with The Snowman. Enjoy a special screening of the classic film with live music by Royal Northern Sinfonia.
Before The Snowman, we go on a musical journey through Frann Preston-Gannon’s book In the Swamp by the Light of the Moon. And after everything? Jingle Bells, of course!
Conductor Olivia Clarke and presenter Eleanor Mooney will lead the performance, which can be seen at the Sands Centre at 11am, 2pm and 5pm on Wednesday, December 20 and Thursday, December 21.
