A MAN has admitted being the owner of a dog dangerously out of control that caused injury.
Simon Nicholson, 55, entered a guilty plea when he appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The incident took place on June 18 on Lorton Street in Cockermouth when the female Doberman was dangerously out of control and caused injury to a woman.
Nicholson, of Lorton Road, Cockermouth was told that the court must consider a destruction order for the dog.
The case was adjourned to allow the a dog behaviourist report to be carried out.
Nicholson was granted unconditional bail until his next court appearance on January 9.
