WAR veteran fundraiser Mark Harding has been in Singapore to give talks about his work.

Mark Harding, of Wigton, began raising money for causes close to his heart in recent years.

In 2010. whilst serving in Afghanistan, he was shot in the neck and told he would never walk again.

He has since regained some of his mobility and takes part in a range of charitable fundraising efforts.

Whilst in Singapore he attended The British Club for a festive gathering.

Mr Harding said: "This festive gathering aims to raise funds for Scotty's Little Soldiers, an organization that provides assistance to bereaved children from the UK forces, in collaboration with the Tri Forces Charity.

"The Sandbag Veterans Society and Scotty's Little Soldiers stand as beacons of hope, uniting individuals through the power of service comradeship.

"This Christmas bash ball is more than just a celebration; it's an opportunity to make a positive impact and show our unwavering support for those who have served our country.

"As the festive season fills the air, let us remember the true meaning of giving. By attending this event, you join a community of like-minded individuals who believe in the strength of humanity and the importance of standing together."
