But which destinations are the most popular for people getting down on one knee and popping the all-important question?
To find out, PayingTooMuch has analysed the number of TikTok views for UK destinations to reveal the ones that are most popular for proposals.
They also looked at the most romantic and affordable destinations around the world people looking to pop the question abroad.
The Lake District ranked fourth on the list with 2,163 views for proposal posts on TikTok.
London is the UK’s most popular destination for a proposal, with over 10 million views on TikTok.
Cornwall is the second most popular UK destination for a proposal, with over a quarter of a million views on TikTok.
