The winners of this year's Camping and Glamping Awards have been announced - and Cumbria is well represented.

The nationwide awards are hosted by Campsites.co.uk.

It identifies the best campsites, glamping spots, and touring sites across the country, celebrating those that have provided exceptional services for outdoor enthusiasts throughout the year.

Award categories range from 'Best Campsite', 'Best Glamping Site' and 'Most Unique Site', to 'Greener Site Award' and 'Best Coastal Campsite'. They also offer 'Best Budget Campsite', illustrating that memorable camping experiences don’t have to break the bank.

Among the winners were 10 Cumbrian campsites which were graced with an astonishing 12 awards.

Highlights include Church Stile Farm and Holiday Park in Seascale, which claimed the title of Best Campsite and Best Family Campsite in the North West, whilst Parkgate Farm Holidays in Holmrook was named the Best Small Campsite in the UK and was the runner up for Best Campsite in the North West.

Church Stile Farm and Holiday Park, nestled in an area with breathtaking views, offers an array of accommodation options.

Its stunning location, along with the excellent facilities, make it a fantastic base for exploring the Lake District.

Meanwhile, Parkgate Farm Holidays provides an escape to tranquillity.

Nestled in a Dark Skies area of the Lake District, it offers nature lovers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature and wildlife.

Other winners from Cumbria include Hadrigg Hall Glamping in Penrith, Cherry Trees Farm in Wigton, Wallace Lane Farm in Wigton and Carrock Glamping Pods in Hesket New Market.

These sites were the runner up for the Best Newcomer Award (UK), runner up for Best Budget Campsite (UK), Winner of Best Caravan Park (North West) and Winner of Best Glamping Site (North West) respectively.
